DASTA Programme is one of three Actions in the Operational Programme "Education and Constant Learning 2007 - 2013", currently running at the Kavala Institute of Technology. DASTA is funded by the European Union and the Greek state.

DASTA Programme aims to develop Career Offices, expand the establishment of Student Training and promote juvenile Innovation and Enterpreneurship. It also focuses on maximizing collaboration and co-ordination among Greek Higher Educational Institutes, as well as reinforcing their connections with the labor market and relevant organizations.

Objectives of DASTA include mainly the following:

• Information of registered and non-registered users via the current web portal.
• Development of an Integrated Information System which will manipulate the interaction among students and businesses, in accordance with the services of Careers Office, Student Training Office and Innovation and Enterpreneurship Office.
• Central co-ordination of the activities of Careers Office, Student Training Office and Innovation and Enterpreneurship Office of Kavala Institute of Technology.
