Student Training is an established compulsory part in the Studies Schedule of every Department of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology (EMaTh.Tech). It serves as a means of linking the theoretical background of the Higher Education and the actual working environment of modern organizations and businesses.

Student Training Office is included for development in DASTA Programme and founded by the European Union and the Greek state.

Aims of Student Training Office consist mainly of the following:

1. Acquisition of the student's first working experience, relative to his/her field of study at Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology.
2. Development of the trainee's skills and professional motivation.
3. Creation of a bidirectional channel of communication between Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology and the labor market, in terms of monitoring modern labor needs and developing Studies Schedules that can support them.
